A new chapter in the history of our company begins. This model represents a return to our line of women's watches. It is with great pleasure that we announce the launch of Paul Rich's next women's collection, Cosmic Dust.
Initial Idea
In creating this women's line, the goal was to expand the entire Cosmic family. Additionally, women's collections need to include a set of features that represent the attributes of the feminine gender. For women, watches can be regarded as an important part of their jewelry collection. At the beginning of the process, the thickness of the watch was reduced in favor of redesigned surface movements and cuts, resulting in a strong as well as jewelry-like appearance for the watch, especially with regard to the bracelet.
Design
In contrast to the masculine version of the Cosmic model, the sharp cuts in this model were inspired by the movement of the lines across the planes and the glass. As part of the brand-new Paul Rich design DNA, the bezel is designed according to our new four-element division found in all our upcoming collections. On each side of the bezel plane, two of these surfaces are indented, which provides space for 42 crystals to be set. The crystals are made using the Cupid cut technique - the same technique that is used to cut real diamonds. A special dial size of 36 mm has been designed for the watch.
Looking closely at the bracelet, it is composed of two main components, which are attached to the case directly and support the entire structure. There is a central section where the surfaces are indented, creating a space for the second segment of the bracelet. A trapezoidal shape is in line with the 4 element division on the bezel.
Dial
Referring to the idea of the Cosmic collection, this model also stands out with its aventurine dial. This precious material has a deep blue shade, like looking at a galaxy full of stars. Also in this watch we added luminous hands and indexes, which glow in the darkness. What is characteristic for this dial, we applied there for the first time our new logo. The hands and indexes have been made narrower and smaller to fit the smaller size of the watch.
Case
In the women's Cosmic model, the galaxy engraving is interpreted in a novel way, as it is in the male model as well. The new logotype places the name in free space within the galaxy and encloses it with the orbital paths of the planets. A Swiss quartz movement - Ronda 763 with a water resistance rating of 5 ATM is utilized in this model.
Crown
There is a special sand-pulled rounded texture in place of the logo in the middle. Round surface cuts were replaced with sharp ones around the crown. This was in order to make the crown appear more subtle and in keeping with the design of the female collection.
Summary
Overall, the new Cosmic Dust model for women features a new dial size 36mm. It also features a distinct bracelet design and careful attention was paid to details such as the crown and the galactic back. A characteristic of the Cosmic line is the use of luminous hands and indexes and the use of an aventurine dial. Combined with creatively arranged 42 crystals on the bezel, the newly designed model forms a modern contemporary watch. This will begin brand-new era in the history of the Cosmic watch collection.
